BIPEA organizes accredited microbiological proficiency testing schemes in the fields of water and fertilizers. These PT programs are designed to meet the requirements of laboratories that need to check that the accuracy of their sample testing is as good as the results of their routine analysis.

More than 10 analytes are offered, for detection and enumeration: Total coliforms, E.coli, Enterococci, Total viable count – TVC (culturable micro-organisms 22°C and 36°C), Spores of sulfite-reducing anaerobe bacteria (Clostridium), Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococci, Legionella, Legionella pneumophila, Salmonella

• Reports PTS: 1 individual interlaboratory comparisons report delivered with a judgment of the laboratory performance + 1 global interlaboratory comparisons report including the results of all participants.
