New Kit Detects Metapneumovirus - (UK only)

Metapneumovirus is a unique virus producing symptoms identical to RSV. There are 4 known serotypes and no commercial reagents have been previously available to detect all of them.

Microgen Bioproducts is introducing into the UK market the latest in the line of the DFA kits from Diagnostic Hybrids - D3 Metapneumovirus. The blend of monoclonal antibodies has been carefully selected to detect all serotypes directly from clinical specimens or tissue culture in just 15 minutes. All the necessary reagents including control slides are available (Kit Code 01-030000). For added convenience control slides are also available separately (Kit Code 03-000070).
