The 2019-nCoV CDC Probe and Primer Kit for SARS-CoV-2 were tested by the CDC and is now listed under its 'Acceptable Alternative Primer and Probe Sets' for use in the CDC RT-PCR Diagnostic Panel, which runs on Applied BioSystems 7500 Fast Dx Real-Time PCR System with SDS version 1.4 software.

The kits include FAM-BHQ probes and primers; N1, N2 and RP, mixed into a single assay per signature as required by protocols provided by the CDC. Oligos are delivered dried and shipped at ambient temperature.
