BIPEA Offers a New Proficiency Test in the Field of Food Microbiology

BIPEA is launching a new interlaboratory test (PTS 111) that will allow laboratories to detect Staphylococcal enterotoxins type SEA to SEE in food.

For this first trial, BIPEA chose milk matrix. Laboratories will receive 3 samples of liquid milk (Level 0, level 1 and level 3 of toxin concentrations) and will have to perform analysis on staphylococcal enterotoxins’ detection according to their usual methods. For the next tests, other food matrices will be proposed.

For more than 50 years, BIPEA has provided a wide range of proficiency tests and external reference materials for testing laboratories involved in quality control and analytical accuracy in various fields (environment, food, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals).

To learn more about the "PT 111 - Staphylococcal Enterotoxins in Food", as well as the full range of interlaboratory tests, please feel free to contact BIPEA or click on the Request Information button below.
