Josh Pulido has joined the Microbiologics, Inc. team as the Business Development Manager for Virapur, a subsidiary of Microbiologics that provides custom virus production, purification, and viral assay services. Pulido will lead efforts to enter new markets and expand Microbiologics’ molecular controls portfolio by leveraging Virapur’s virology expertise.

“Virapur’s expertise, technology, and customer base combined with Microbiologics’ distribution, sales, and marketing capabilities will accelerate our collective growth and provide us access to new markets,” said Brad Goskowicz, Microbiologics Chief Executive Officer. “Josh’s deep understanding of the clinical diagnostic industry and vision for the future will help us continue to develop innovative biomaterials for our customers throughout the world.”

Prior to joining Microbiologics, Pulido was the Senior Marketing Manager for Strategic Marketing at Hologic. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science and received his certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathology. Pulido earned his master’s in Health Administration from Weber State University in 2017.

Pulido began his career with various laboratory roles ultimately being promoted to Laboratory Automation Supervisor in 2005 at the new Automated Central Laboratory for Intermountain Health Care. Pulido joined Bio-Rad Laboratories in 2007 in a field marketing role as a Quality Systems Specialist. He transitioned into a Field Sales Account Manager role selling the clinical diagnostic portfolio of products followed by a Global Product Manager role supporting the Infectious Disease Quality Control product line for Bio-Rad.
