With the launch of Rapid-C+, a real-time air microbial particle counter, MBV is part of the distribution of an innovative product that sets new industry standards in environmental monitoring. Rapid-C+ combines real-time counting with traditional active air sampling. MBV distributes the instrument as official partner of Plair SA globally, exclusively in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

The real-time air microbial particle counter Rapid-C+ is equipped with state-of-the-art laser-based light scattering and fluorescence spectroscopy. This technology allows the instrument to detect viable particles in the air in real-time. At the same time, samples are continuously collected on settle plates in order to be able to identify the airborne microbes - a revolutionary combination in environmental monitoring.

Due to its unique design, Rapid-C+ allows safe monitoring from outside of critical areas and significantly reduces the risk associated with manual interventions. The instrument, therefore, completely fulfills the high requirements of the EU GMP Annex 1 in the area of air sampling.

MBV is a global sales partner for Rapid-C+ and distributes the real-time air microbial detector exclusively in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Plair SA specialises in the development and manufacture of innovative instruments for real-time air microbial monitoring. The collaboration began back in the spring of 2020 when the start-up sparked the interest of MBV CEO Ronny Zingre. He recognized the potential of Plair SA's instruments and supported the young company as a member of the Board of Directors.
