SMEs at the Wheel as Labguru Breaks Record
The Software as a Service (SaaS) provider BioData, with their flagship product Labguru, have announced a record-breaking third-quarter following a YTD 60 percent annual recurring revenue (ARR) growth throughout 2019, and CEO Steve Yemm says Life Science SMEs is what’s driving it.
According to Yemm, “The SME bracket accounts for a substantial 80 percent plus of businesses in the life sciences sector”, and he believes that the improvements he has planned for 2020 will position the Labguru product to be the leading laboratory informatics solution.
The Labguru electronic note-book is a web-based platform that allows the lab to record and manage all their data in one place. It also enables the design of experiments and workflows and includes sections to organise and track cell lines, bacteria, seeds, plants and mouse colonies, among others.
“With the global market for pharmaceuticals reaching $1.2 trillion in 2018”, comments Steve, “It is critical that the industry adopts world-class technology to deliver the digital automation and data analysis critical to succeed in industry 4.0.”
