“AIR. NOTHING ELSE.” is what MBV AG aims to provide. In order to meet the requirements necessary to fulfill this promise, the world market leader for microbiological air monitoring runs a laboratory for the calibration of air volume flows at its location in Stäfa near Zurich. This has been accredited by the Swiss Accreditation Service (SAS) according to EN-ISO / IEC-17025. In the laboratory, MBV MAS-100 Regulus^® and DA-100 NT digital anemometers for testing the MAS-100 air samplers are calibrated with the highest precision and ensure the provision of comprehensive documentation that is sufficient to meet the requirements of any audit.

MBV´s calibration laboratory was recertified by the SAS on 1 September 2021.

Laboratory manager Chris Habegger said delightedly, "We are very satisfied that the SAS has recertified our ISO 17025 laboratory without major objections. This allows us to continue to guarantee our customers the complete traceability of the air volume flows of their air samplers in compliance with international standards".

With regard to the calibration of MAS-100 air samplers, MBV offers its customers the option of calibrating their air samplers themselves, using a digital anemometer MAS-100 Regulus certified by MBV, or having them checked in the MBV service centre or a certified service organisation.
