EasyDisc™ provides faster, easier quantification of heterotrophic bacteria in water.

Principle: EasyDisc offers an easy solution for HPC testing with no agar preparation needed, requiring less than one minute of hands-on time to process a sample. Positive results appear as blue colonies, removing any ambiguity of results, and colony counting is made easier by the integrated gridlines in the EasyDisc plate. With an 18-month shelf life, EasyDisc reduces the need for repetitive quality control checks.

Approvals: France (2022) EasyDisc YEA has been granted NF Validation Certification by AFNOR under the reference No 33/09 – 03/22 for the enumeration of cultural micro-organisms in water for human consumption (drinking water).

• Suitable for drinking and source water
• Results in 44 hours when incubated at 36°C and 68 hours when incubated at 22°C
• Designed to correlate with ISO 6222

EasyDisc PCA Test

• Suitable for drinking and source water
• Results in 48 hours when incubated at 35°C
• Designed to correlate with the pour plate method (SM 9215) using plate count agar

EasyDisc R2A Test

• Suitable for medical and/or pharmaceutical waters
• Results in 5–7 days when incubated at 20–28°C
• Designed to correlate with the pour plate method (SM 9215) using Reasoner’s 2 agar

EasyDisc DEV Test

• Suitable for drinking and source water
• Results in 44 hours when incubated at 20°C or 36°C
• Designed to correlate with TrinkwV, §15(1c) in Germany.
