NEW - Envirocheck® Contact Plates from Merck - Simply Get Started!

Envirochek - Contact Plates

There is an increasing need for effective hygiene monitoring in all areas where microorganisms may contaminate or affect industrial products or processes. Hygiene monitoring is therefore highly important in all industries that have to monitor the hygiene status along the entire process chain, especially in cleanroom areas with filtered air.

For this purpose, Merck offers two types of contact plates for the detection of microbiological contaminations: contact plates for isolators and cleanrooms, triple bagged and gamma-irradiated as well as single bagged contact plates to examine surfaces, e.g. walls, textiles and working garments, to screen bacteria, yeasts and molds related to a contamination in the production process.

The Benefits:
Ensure constant high quality + Save time and costs = Convenience you can count on!

Envirocheck® contact plates for isolators and cleanrooms and for hygiene monitoring of surfaces

  • Pharmaceutical Industry
The contact plates serve to examine surfaces in isolators and/or cleanrooms for the pharmaceutical industry.

In order to fulfill the requirements for protected areas, all Envirocheck® contact plates are triple wrapped and gamma-irradiated. In the final packaging, the contact plates are packed in boxes with 2 x 10 plates, the inner bag is impermeable to H2O and includes a pouch containing a drying agent to minimize the formation of condensation water. To inactivate any residual disinfectants on the surface to be tested, the Envirocheck® contact plates for isolators and cleanrooms additionally contain 4 neutralizing agents. All plates are stored at room temperature (+15°C to +25°C) and storage at the site of application is easily possible.

  • Food and Beverage Industry
The contact plates serve to examine surfaces, e.g. floors, walls, textiles and working garments for the food and beverage industry.

Envirocheck® contact plates for hygiene monitoring of surfaces are single bagged, packed in boxes of 2 x 10 plates, the plates are stored at room temperature (+15°C to +25°C) and storage at the site of application is easily possible. Product name, expiry date, lot number and serial production number are imprinted on each Envirocheck® contact plate for safe and easy product identification and shelf-life monitoring.
