CAP Checklist added to BIOMIC V3

The BIOMIC V3 Microbiology System now contains a built-in CAP (College of American Pathologists) Bacteriology Checklist to facilitate laboratory inspections. This includes all bacteriology-specific CAP Questions with a direct link to its BIOMIC V3 test and report feature, including QC Summary Reports and Antibiotic Disk Lots Log.

This new addition to the BIOMIC V3 Quality Control Center includes electronic documentation of all QC test results.

BIOMIC V3´s color digital imaging technology automates the reading, interpretation, and reporting of CLSI, EUCAST, and BSAC antibiotic disk diffusion tests. The system also reads all varieties of API® (bioMerieux), RapID™ (Remel) and Crystal™ (BD) ID panels and automates colony counting. BIOMIC V3 serves as a primary or secondary AST-ID system for microbiology laboratories of all sizes and setups.
