AFSSAPS Allows Argene's Influenza A(M) Group & H1N1 2009 r-gene™

The new Influenza A(M) Group & H1N1 2009 r-gene™ (ref 71-300) assay, dedicated to the typing of the novel 2009 Influenza A(H1N1) and detection of Influenza A group viruses by Real-Time RT-PCR, has received marketing authorization for In-Vitro Diagnostic Use.

Following the successful comparative clinical validations of Argene´s Influenza A(M) Group & H1N1 2009 r-gene™ kit, prior to the release of its first next CE marked batch, the French sanitary safety agency for health products (AFSSAPS) authorized the new ARGENE kit for use in In Vitro Diagnostics.
