FOSS has opened a new sales subsidiary in India
go back to news archives The new company - FOSS India is headquartered in Mumbai with branch offices in Bangalore, Coimbatore, Delhi and Hyderabad. The company currently employs 15 staff. Mr Anurag Bhatnagar has been appointed as Managing Director. He has extensive experience from the grain industry and was formerly a group manager at Buhler India. FOSS has been present in India for over 30 years under a distributor arrangement managed by Mr Saurabh N. Mehta. Mr Mehta will serve on the board of the new FOSS subsidiary. India is the world's second most populous country and is undergoing rapid economic development leading to an increased demand for FOSS dedicated analytical solutions which, among other things, help to ensure optimal quality of food and agricultural products. The new subsidiary will improve customer service, training and application development services for FOSS customers in the country. Additionally, a subagent, Rajasthan Electronics & Instruments Ltd will provide a dedicated service focused specifically on the dairy industry. |
