go back to news archives | Vibrio cholerae serogroup 01, serotype Ogawa (ATCC® No. BAA-2163™) is now available from ATCC. The strain was deposited by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Isolated from a human clinical patient in Haiti, October 2010, this strain matches other Haitian isolates by Pulse Field Gel Electrophoresis (PFGE), cholera toxin sequence-type, and antibiotic susceptibility profile. Antibiotic susceptibility data performed by ATCC is available on the website catalog listing for this strain. |
