STARLIMS Japanese Distribution Agreement
go back to news archivesSTARLIMS Corporation, a leading global provider of LIMS and CTC Laboratory Systems (CTCLS), distributors and system integrators of state-of-the-art computer systems and software, have announced the signing of an agreement for distribution and support of the STARLIMS software solution in Japan.
A subsidiary of Itochu Techno-Science Corporation, CTCLS is Japans leading provider of total information technology solutions for pharmaceutical, chemical, oil & gas and food processing industries, as well as life sciences research institutions. CTCLS will provide STARLIMS business development, professional services and full local support to customers in a wide variety of vertical markets.
According to Taizo Watanabe, President of CTCLS, "The Japanese market for commercial-off-the-shelf LIMS solutions is expected to grow noticeably in the coming years due to changing regulatory environments and on going investments towards operational excellence. STARLIMS offers cost effective complete solutions that will enable us to capture a healthy share of the market within a very short period."
