Automating Media Preparation

The new "ADD-SS" produced by International Pbi is an automatic microbiological media dispenser used to fill in disposable Petri dishes. The carousel holds 240 Petri dishes and feeds dispenser continuously and automatically.

The unitary construction structure made entirely of polished AISI 304 stainless steel is ideal for cleaning and disinfection. The dispensing of media is performed by an incorporated peristaltic pump that can also be used to fill test tubes, containers, etc.

An industrial ink jet printer produces a clear plate identification for lot, date, type of medium. The "ADD-SS" in combination with the media preparator "AGARSTER"” is an ideal solution to obtain filled Petri dishes of the best quality in accordance with GLP. Over 1000 units are working daily all over the world to help the microbiologist to have a better quality of life.
