Enigma Diagnostics, has gained ISO 9001:2000 registration from The British Standards Institute. The award of this internationally recognized standard demonstrates a Quality Management System (QMS) that consistently meets customer and regulatory requirements for the design, development and manufacture of Enigma´s rapid diagnostic instruments.


This coincides with the opening of a new US office in San Francisco and the appointment of Chris Melancon as Vice President, Business Development.

The San Francisco office opened on December 1 and is Enigma´s first overseas facility established to commercialize Enigma´s range of rapid diagnostic instrument systems. Enigma´s first product, the Enigma Field Laboratory (FL), was launched in November, and is a fully automated, real-time PCR detection system designed for in-field testing by veterinarians, first responders and military personnel.
