Ready-to-use Microbial Suspensions for USP Media Performance Testing
go back to news archives NAMSA offers 11 different ready-to-use microbial suspensions that meet the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) requirements for media performance testing. Each organism in the product line is conveniently available in two configurations, a 100 dose (10 ml) suspension and a 25 dose (2.5 ml) suspension. The Growth Promotion Test Suspensions are ready-to-use microbial suspensions, they require no reconstitution or dilution prior to use. An improved single piece screw cap and septum allow for access using a syringe or pipette without leakage during shipment or storage. All suspensions comply with the requirement for a population of <100 CFUs and are guaranteed to be within 5 passages of the stock culture. Growth Promotion Test Suspensions provide a quality control challenge to each batch or lot of medium, ensuring its growth promotion qualities, whether it is prepared from basic ingredients or purchased commercially prepared. Simply inoculate each batch or lot of medium and incubate under the appropriate growth conditions. NAMSA strives to maintain available inventory of the outlined product line. Please enquire to confirm availability and/or lead time. The 2.5mL dose may be substituted for the 10 mL volumes and vice versa. Populations other than <100 CFUs/0.1 mL are also available. Please enquire for pricing and lead times using the 'More Information' button at the bottom of this page. |
