Freedom EVOlyzer Offers Fully Automated Microplate Processing
go back to news archivesThe Freedom EVOlyzer from Tecan Europe is a new Enzyme Immuno Assay (EIA) analyser offering fully automated microplate processing.
Designed around Tecan's advanced EVO robotic platform the Freedom EVOlyzer is a dedicated automated workstation including state-of-the-art reader, washer, control software and incubation units that ensures reliable and fully IVD compliant EIA processing.
Available in four sizes - 75, 100, 150, 200 the Freedom EVOlyzer provides the ideal scalable solution for low to high throughput and various batch size EIA requirements. Designed as an open system, the Freedom EVOlyzer allows easy automation of any commercially available microplate based Enzyme Immuno Assay - ranging from applications in blood bank laboratories to those in hospitals, reference and veterinary laboratories. Continuous loading and parallel sample pipetting features in the new system maximize throughput and allow efficient utilisation as well as optimal scheduling of laboratory tasks. Communication with the laboratory LlMS and flexible work-list management is easily performed via an integrated ASTM (American Society for Testing of Materials) interface.
Tecan offers courses to train technical personal and supervisors in operation and set up of processes to secure reliable and IVD-D compliant operation of the system. Validated protocols can be protected against unauthorised modifications to enable the safety and security of operators and patients.
