Sterilin Introduces New Ward/Shelf Packs of 30ml Universal Containers

Sterilin Limited now have handy ward/shelf packs of its best selling 30ml universal containers, usually supplied in packs of 400. The new packs of 50 (printed labelled product and those that contain boric acid) will contain an inner bag label with product code, lot number and expiry date, aiding product traceability. The newly formed Sterilin Limited manufactures a wide range of single-use products for the pharmaceutical, clinical and healthcare, medical device and industrial packaging industries.

Sterilin's market leading 30ml universal containers are CE marked in accordance with the European Directive 98/79/EC and have a leak tight cap which ensures excellent sample containment. In many applications, especially in the healthcare sector, Sterilin's containers are used to contain both valuable and hazardous samples. As these samples are often subjected to the rigours of hospital air transport systems, it is important that the products do not leak. For the benefit and safety of patients and clinicians, the containers are leak tested in accordance with EN14254 Annexe D.

Manufactured at Sterilin's facility in the UK, these free standing 30ml containers are aseptically manufactured under cleanroom conditions to exclude microbiological contamination. All materials are non-cytotoxic, manufactured from virgin polystyrene and are available empty or pre-filled with boric acid for preservation of urine samples.

Sterilin manufactures all of its key product ranges at its ISO 9001:2000 accredited plant in South Wales, UK, where a commitment to product development and investment in injection moulding technology, clean room and microbiological research facilities ensures that every item is made to the highest possible quality. In addition, Sterilin also has a number of dedicated OEM partners worldwide, manufacturing bespoke products for customers and is always looking for new collaborative ventures.
