Detect Only Viable Cells in PCR Assays
go back to news archives Led Active-Blue equipment neutralizes the DNA of dead organisms through the use of photo-actibables intercalating agents (PMA or EMA). After samples have been treated with the system, only the DNA of living cells is detected by the laboratory's conventional PCR or Real Time PCR assay. The equipment is thermally stable with a constant uniform light dose, and is very easy to use. The Led Active Blue can run simultaneous photo-activation of up to 12 samples in a simple and efficient manner. |
