New High Speed Shaker from Stuart®

Barloworld Scientific’s popular range of Stuart bench top shakers has been extended with the addition of a versatile lab-scale microtitre plate shaker.

The new SSL5 compliments the SSM5 personal plate shaker and, like the SSM5, combines high speed motion with a tiny orbit to produce the ideal conditions to mix microtitre plates or tubes. Plates are securely held to the unit by our non-slip mat. The unit can also be used with separately available tube racks to mix 0.2ml, 0.5ml or 1.5ml or tubes.

Designed for maximum flexibility, the SSL5 operates at speeds from 250 to 1250rpm and has the capacity to mix 8 microtitre plates simultaneously.

As with all Stuart shakers, the SSL5 has an in built timer that can be programmed in seconds, minutes or hours, or set for continuous motion.

All programming features are controlled via an easy to read LED display.
