go back to news archives Developed in conjunction with a leading automation company, Snap Tube® from Micronic BV is a new and novel locking mechanism that enables tubes to be locked into storage racks thereby enhancing sample security. Available on all new Micronic Roborack®, StaboRack® and Loborack® storage racks, Snap Tube ensures high security for samples in non coded, alphanumeric and 2D coded tubes during transport or storage. Operating Snap Tube is both fast and simple. Applying downward pressure, Snap tubes are securely locked into the Micronic storage rack. To unlock, simply apply a gentle upward pressure, now the tubes are free again to be handled by an automated tube picking system. |
