Autoplate Spiral Plating - Improved Counting Range
go back to news archives Advanced Instruments will introduced an enhanced version of the Spiral Biotech Autoplate® Spiral Plating System with an increased range of bacterial counts and additional operating modes for 150 mm plates at the 110th General Meeting of the American Society of Microbiologists, May 24-27, 2010, San Diego, CA. 'The initial Autoplate was enthusiastically accepted by the market following its introduction last year, 'said Anthony Pappas, National Sales Manager, Advanced Instruments. 'Since then, we listened to customers and incorporated their feedback to make this new version the best spiral plating system on the market.' The range of bacterial counts on the new Autoplate model has been increased and now covers from 40 to 1 X 106 colony-forming units (CFUs). This capability means customers can save one more dilution than the previous technology. Three additional operating modes have been added for 150 mm plates, expanding the functionality of the system. Reliability enhancements were incorporated to increase instrument life and the touch-screen user interface was enhanced to enable more intuitive operation. 'All of these improvements also will be made available to the existing Autoplate customer base,' said Pappas. |
