Lab M Launches ISO Nutrient Agar

ISO Nutrient Agar

Lab M is launching Nutrient Agar (ISO), the latest in its range of dehydrated culture media designed to meet specific ISO requirements in the food industry. A general purpose medium, Lab M's Nutrient Agar (ISO) is intended for the cultivation of a wide range of non-fastidious micro-organisms.

This new version Nutrient Agar is formulated according to ISO 6579:2002, ISO 10273:2003 and ISO 16654:2001, and is tested in accordance with ISO/TS 11133-2:2003.

Over the past 18 months, Lab M has significantly extended its range of microbiological culture media formulated in accordance with ISO requirements. Food industry laboratories are moving to use ISO-specified media in the knowledge that these meet strict formulation requirements and have undergone rigorous testing by the manufacturer.
