More Sustainable Microbiology - Making Labs Greener a rapidmicrobiology Special Focus


How can laboratories make microbiology testing more sustainable? In this rapidmicrobiology special focus on making microbiology green, we highlight some easy-to-implement practical steps that any lab can take to minimize their environmental impact.

Plastic Waste and Packaging: It's not easy to move away from single-use plastic disposables, so if washing and re-using is not a viable option, consider:

  • Supplier Commitment: Choose a supplier that is actively moving to reduce their CO2 emissions. INTEGRA Biosciences has made significant progress with this over the past 5 years.
