Priorclave RSC Autoclaves Can Improve Lab Efficiency

With its 350 litre chamber the RSC 350 laboratory autoclave is the perfect choice for high throughput sterilising applications or where there is a requirement to handle extra-bulky items. The popularity of this front-loading autoclave is driven by a design that offers a large sterilising chamber yet requires a relatively small footprint which makes for easier positioning and installation since it will pass through a standard door.

The RSC 350 laboratory autoclave from specialist autoclave manufacturer Priorclave is proving to be a popular choice for those laboratories in the microbiology, pharmaceutical and research centres that need to achieve a high-throughput, reliable and repeatable sterilising procedures or have a specific requirement to process extra-large bulky items.

Features include low loading height, simpler set-up procedures and safer door opening mechanisms. The chamber door on the RSC 350 has a patented two hand-wheel door closure system, the lower hand-wheel on the chamber door is fitted with thermal and pressure locks to prevent opening at load temperatures above 80°C and pressures above 0.2 bar, thus averting potential accidents through discharge of hot, high-pressurised steam.

As standard, the RSC 350 front loading laboratory autoclave is fitted with an automatic water-fill however as a dedicated autoclave manufacturer Priorclave is able to incorporate a number of options into the standard steriliser framework of these high capacity sterilisers such as water cooling jackets, pre-cycle vacuum in which multiple vacuum stages are programmed with interspersed heating to achieve greater steam penetration of difficult media as well as post cycle drying.

The Priorclave RSC 350 can be supplied by Priorclave with a choice of steam generation – electrical or direct steam heated; alternatively they can be fitted with an in-house steam generator ideal where continuous sterilising applications take place.

The build quality of front loading, RSC laboratory autoclaves is enhanced by epoxy coating panels and frame members with an anti-bacterial agent that is highly effective and permanent treatment for control of harmful bacteria, making surfaces cleaner, more hygienic and providing durable lifelong protection against the threat of cross contamination. This tough special epoxy finish is proven to reduce bacterial growth by up to 99.99% and is highly effective against MRSA, E.coli, Listeria, Legionella, Campylobacter, Salmonella, Pseudomonas and over 50 other species.

All operating settings are programmed easily through the advanced Tactrol®2 microprocessor controller which is standard across the entire Priorclave range. This powerful controller allows unrivalled flexibility, monitoring and management of process cycle, guiding operators through simple set-up procedures for optimisation of the autoclave performance, helping to reduce running costs.

The Priorclave RSC 350 laboratory and research grade autoclave is are part of an extensive steriliser range that includes benchtop, top and even more front loading machines as well as double-door, power door and stackable designs.. Each and every model is manufactured in the UK and follows one of the most stringent designs and build programs.

Purchase of a RSC 350 autoclave means buying into British designed and manufactured laboratory autoclaves that have a global presence and are supported by one of the very best pre-and aftersales support service, a dedicated team ensures customers maximise the efficiency of their Priorclave wherever it is installed.
