Liofilchem produces a wide range of ready to use media, whose formulations are either complying to Pharmacopoeia, ISO and other international standards or customized, in several formats, used in clinical and industrial microbiology laboratories internationally.

The 90 mm petri dish format is filled with variable volume of culture medium, depending on the customer's needs (ie: 30 mL settle plates for environmental monitoring) and can be gamma irradiated, in 20 or 100 plate packs.

Ready media in 60 mm plates are used for the membrane filtration technique in water testing and are available for a wide range of formulations, including the chromogenic ones (ie: the ISO compliant Chromatic Coliform Agar ISO), in individual plate packaging, in 20 or 450 plate packs.

Liofilchem produces ready-to-use gamma-irradiated, triple-bagged Contact Plates, particularly suitable for use in restricted areas like isolators and clean rooms, for detecting and enumerating microorganisms with neutralization/inactivation of antibiotics and disinfectants/antiseptics. The Liofilchem Contact Plates are available in both individual packaging (a transparent peelable blister) and traditional pouch packs, in 20 or 400 plate packs.

Easy Dry are ready-to-use, sterile, individually plated dried-up culture media in pads, available in a variety of formulations for microbiological testing of beverage and food, in 100 plate packs. Easy Dry are reconstituted with 2.0 – 2.5 mL of sterile and demineralized (or pure) water, then used with the filter as by standardized membrane filtration method.

Tubes and bottles formats are customizable in formulation, volume of medium, container and packaging formats. Also there are varieties of caps available: screw, perforable, flip-off, crimp. Ready media in tubes and bottles can be irradiated as well.

The Liofilchem Ready Bags are ready-to-use media, in 3L or 5L bag format, primarily meant for the food industries, aseptically delivered via gravimetric dilutors to prepare selective and non-selective enrichments. Available for Listeria (UVM and Half Fraser), Peptone Water, Maximum Recovery Diluent, TSB and other custom formulations.

Liofilchem Dip-Slide and Contact Slide are ready-to-use devices with two different media coated onto a plastic carrier used for respectively for urinary tract infection screenings and the microbial monitoring of surfaces and fluids, even in the presence of residues of disinfectants. The selective media allow for the isolation and enumeration of bacteria, yeasts and moulds. Packaging available in 20 or 120 slide packs.
