Recombinant Horseshoe crab Factor C (rFC) endotoxin detection methods such as EndoZyme and the EndoLISA technology by Hyglos have been included as valid alternative methods in the new draft of Ph. Eur. chapter 5.1.10 published in Pharmeuropa Issue 26.4 by the European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines & Health Care (EDQM).
