Fully-accredited to ISO17025 (UKAS) regulations, this new screening further expands LGC’s cost-effective, multi-speciation offering for raw and processed meats and meat products.
The accredited screening service at LGC now covers Goat, Beef, Pork, Horse, Lamb, Turkey and Chicken but, in addition, tests for more exotic species such as turtle, fox and donkey are also available.
The speciation service utilises LGC’s patented PCR-based KASP™ genotyping technology , enabling extremely high levels of assay robustness and accuracy across a wide range of food samples. By utilising a high throughput platform, we are able to provide cost-effective testing solutions.
