EntericBio Gastro Panel 2 assay is currently being implemented for routine testing of faecal specimens for gastrointestinal pathogens and with high throughput capabilities and fast turnaround times, the assay is ideally suited to the lab’s high sample throughput.
The EntericBio system is a molecular automated platform for the detection of enteric pathogens’ DNA directly from stool samples. The test provides same day results for Giardia, Cryptosporidium spp., Salmonella spp., Shigella spp., Campylobacter spp. and Verotoxin-producing organisms such as E. coli (VTEC) in a PCR assay.
